Hello BaGwa enthusiasts. Like you, I love what BaGwa training has to offer. It is, firstly, a formidable martial arts system designed to defeat other martial artists and multiple foe, with other benefits of developing a healthy strong body, mind and spirit. It is a style based on logic, circularity; and with the right knowledgable instructor and information, your training will be rewarding.

I've been practising BaGwa for over thirty years. Throughout these years, I've trained hard and true and have gone through great lengths to seek out masters for their knowledge, study books, articles and videos. After teaching professionally for some years, I decided to try to add a little to the BaGwa community. When I began my training, there where no BaGwa books, no videos and only a handful of qualified teachers scattered about North America. Today, available are a handful of books, many videos and more instructors. However, there is still only a handful of qualified instructors around. The old BaGwa masters are gone and the art is almost dead. Gone are those turbulent times when masters flourished. We now use weapons of mass destruction. I have come to somewhat dislike teaching because serious interest in this art is minute. So promoting the art of good BaGwa has now become a hobby for me. There is no money in it for me, and because of my love and experience of this art, I simply want to share it with other enthusiasts.

By no means am I an expert of every form or style of BaGwa, but I do recognize good BaGwa when I see it, and recognize good instructors when I see them teach and/or perform. I will certainly post the appropriate link and/or address of such information. There are many interested people out there searching for good schools and information having much difficulty finding what they are searching for. Sadly though, some people never find what they think they are searching for. We must all search our souls occasionally, before we embark on a life long journey. Our lives are too short to waste on just thinking about we want. We must commit and act. But first we must find ourselves.
